Files you upload
When you use a PDFolio tool, the file you upload is processed on our server and stored temporarily to generate your result. We do not manually access, view, or share the contents of your files. Uploaded and processed files are automatically deleted from our server within one hour, and are typically deleted immediately after you download your result.
We do not use uploaded files to train any model, and we do not sell or share file contents with third parties.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our server and analytics tools may log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used only in aggregate to understand traffic and fix problems, not to identify you personally.
Cookies and advertising
PDFolio is supported by advertising, served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
If required in your region, a cookie consent notice will be shown allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies before ads are personalized.
Data retention
We don't require an account to use PDFolio, so we don't hold any persistent profile about you. Uploaded files are deleted as described above; anonymized traffic logs may be retained for a limited period for security and analytics purposes.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold. Since we don't store accounts or file contents beyond the processing window, there is typically nothing to request, but you can always reach out via our contact page with questions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
